Photo Clearinghouse

I haven't gotten an Ashiatsu massage since July. This is the blissful massage technique where someone walks all up and down your body. It is amazing and I hope to get one before too long....
I tried to get Jack to walk up and down my spine.

The only drawback to getting an amateur ashiatsu is when the masseuse falls off your back, repeatedly crashing down onto your left side hurting both your back and ribs.
Trust me on this.
On Wednesday Debbie went to get a hair cut, which served her well to get out of the house and stretch her legs. This left me alone with the kids. Took a minute to successfully juggle but I did manage to get Sophia to sleep.
And while Jack didn't sleep here I did get him comfortable while watching Snoopy's Thanksgiving.

Tofurkey

From a previous post astute readers of the blog know that I bought us the 'Tofurkey Feast' at Oryana. Today was the day to make it.
Following the instructions I let the Tofurkey and Gravy thaw for at least 24 hours. I put it in the fridge yesterday. We decided to have our food more around lunchtime instead of dinnertime, so I began the process to create the feast.
Here we see the Tofurkey with me in the photo for size reference.
Next to a bombed out Mr. Potato Head.
The feast, with fixings of one onion, chopped & quartered, two carrots, cut in two and chopped into 2" wedges, and two potatoes, halved and quartered.
Gravyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
Gravyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
In the oven.
The dumplings. Which were sort of gross.
The completed Tofurkey roast, made darker by the glaze/sauce that I made for it. It wasn't fancy, olive oil, soy sauce & sage.
The smashed potatoes.
Gravy: with and without giblets.
Jack, eating at the big table. Over Jack's shoulder you can see our speckled carpet.
The inside of the Tofurkey.
So this is what now? Not a bird but a block of soy protein? I'll buy that.
Buttery Roll.

I SAID NO PICTURES!
No Dad, not you, the paps! La Dolce Jackson

Kissyface...
The meal was a success as Jack did eat quite a bit.
Here we are.
Slowly starting to lapse into a tofu coma
Help! The hairy man is passing out!
There he goes.

After I was dunked in cold water to wake up I ambled off to the bedroom for a quick nap. I took this photo of Debbie with the kids.
Huzzah! Hee Haw is on Mom! Sing me those songs you like to sing!
Maybe later Jack, maybe later.

Fare thee well Maternity Coat. Your memory lives on.
Charles Nelson Reilly?
Rachel Maddow?
No? Give me another second...
Woody Allen? Fred Armisen?

Hello

Things have sort of slowed down a bit on the blog here are we approach the holidays and the end of semester.
This is not to say that we don't have photos of Jack and Sophia to post, far from it.
It just means that things have felt a little busier and I am hoping to get back into the swing of posting soon.

Just letting everyone know

-Mgmt.
